Hi everyone,

I'm not really sure where to start.. I've had depression on and off for a good few years, although I don't think it truly went away in between.

I have recently just lost my job through depression and also my ex partner.

I have recently just started dating my best friend who is amazing, he listens to me without judgement, he offers 'advice' but not overpowering. He currently lives a few hours away but he has insisted that he will be attending my cbt sessions with me so I'm not alone!

I often sit here and think why me, yes I have family that are very ill, yes I have gone through a lot but so has many other people! I then think, why not me, if it's not me then it will be someone else!

The only thing that gets my mind of things even for a brief moment is my partner and caring for others.

Thank you for listening x

Debs Struggling to be honest, at one point a very short time ago I forgot to feed myself as am so scared to come out my flat? Then was taken into hospital and now getting help. :) Even from here even if I disagree, I might think about it later though. :)

I often think about what causes that depression and get it out our life if you can and believe with effort you will connect with the right type of people. :)

Debbie I'm feeling ok at the moment.. getting ready for Christmas helps but its in the new year when I will struggle the most. Its nice to know that I'm not the only one who finds their moods dip at this time of the year.  I hope that every one else is feeling ok x
