I use a cane, a rollator, and an electric wheelchair. I used the cane up until 4 years ago when something broke at the back of my left knee. J have had various diagnosis from arthritis to a Bakers Cyst. I am seeing a trauma orthopedic consultant today to demand an MRI. In Scotland, UK doctors are not allowed now to refer for an MRI. I dont even get one for my MS now. I have worked all if my life paying national insurance and I don't get vital treatment now. I am so sick of it all. They are taking me off all painkillers and the pain is literally killing me. I used to be very active but have no life now. 😔

Hi everyone, how are you feeling today?
Living with MS means that mobility can look different from one person to the next, and even from one day to the next. Some of us walk unaided, others use a cane, walker, or wheelchair, and some switch between tools depending on symptoms or fatigue.
But choosing to use a mobility aid isn’t always easy. Sometimes it’s a practical decision, and other times it comes with complicated emotions: fear, frustration, even grief or relief.
